About Us

Learn about a unique company

AR.M. Boggs Co., Inc. was founded in 1968 by R.M. (Mel) Boggs, and was initially a mechanical construction company.

As the years progressed and it became necessary for R.M. Boggs Co., Inc., to provide service and repairs for the installations, Richard Staab was hired in 1971 as a service technician. In 1974, Dwight Norris came to the company as a project manager, handling larger construction projects as well as the design-build projects.

By the early 1980’s, the service had grown to require three additional service technicians. Richard and Dwight began to enlarge the service work into an actual division within the company.

By 1988 Richard Staab was running the Service Department as its full time Manager and Dwight Norris had overall responsibility as Executive Vice President. By this time, the two had acquired about 48% of the stock and were directing the daily operations of the company.

A Water Treatment Division was started in late 1989 to supplement the Service Division. This was dictated by the inability to find any water treatment company that had the same dedication to customer service that R.M.B. Co., Inc., demanded.

In 1992, Richard and Dwight decided that diversifying the company into a fourth area, related to the industry, would be very beneficial to the company. The next two years were dedicated to finding that area of diversification.

In 1994, the Air Compressor Sales and Service Division was added to provide a totally unique and well-rounded approach for industrial clients. Since its inception in 1968, the company had grown into the four divisions  that R.M.B.  has today.

The Air Compressor Division provides air compressors and air dryers along with other industrial equipment. Twenty-four hour, seven day-a-week service is provided for this industrial equipment and, of course, parts and rental are also available.

With the assistance of industrial salesmen, R.M.B. can provide additional services for their industrial clientele. Services include pump and blower repairs, air system controls, etc.

The Water Treatment Division provides treatments for the industrial equipment as well as boilers, chillers and cooling towers used for environmental conditioning.

The HVAC Service Division offers service for environmental systems and production equipment as well as refrigerated air dryers.

The Construction Division can provide heating/air conditioning, plumbing and piping required for all environmental systems as well as the necessary production plumbing and piping requirements.

In 1996, R.M. (Mel) Boggs retired and Dwight and Richard purchased the remainder of

the company.
